Last night at WWE Backlash there was a triple crowning of champions. In the Winners opinion the ppv was pretty predictable. Break it down by the matches

John Cena vs Edge (Last Man Standing- World Heavyweight Championship)- Before the ppv even started everyone had to know that Edge was going to win. After the draft both titles were on Raw and with Edge being a Smackdown superstar the title had to move back. After battling throughout the arena and vicious chair shots, Big Show intervened to deliver a chokeslam to Cena through a spotlight which was pretty sick and appropriate for the match.

Triple H, Batista, and Shane McMahon vs Randy Orton & The Legacy (WWE Championship)- With stipulations stacked against Triple H it was my prediction that he would still pull one out, but when he chased Orton out of the ring you knew it was going to come back and bite him. A vicious punt to the head when brawls broke out all over the ring was all the Orton needed to put down HHH and let the title change hands

Christian vs Jack Swagger (ECW Championship)- Let me just start by saying even though Swagger is considered the future, I still do not like him. He is to boring and I don’t think his character will go anywhere. None the less with Christian not being drafted it was going to start a feud and what better way then a title change.

Today Josh Beckett was suspended for 6 games after throwing at ex-Yankee Bobby Abreu. He was not suspended during the game but was suspended today (Tuesday) for six games.

The 2009 MLB World Series

Just one day into the baseball season talks about the 2009 World Series are already circulating. Which teams strengthened their bullpens, pitching rotations, and filled their needs during the offseason put some that were playoff misses in 2008 into the forefront of 2009.
So here are my picks for the 2009 MLB World Series.

Representing the American League- The New York Yankees. With the acquisitions of CC Sabathia, Mark Teixeira, and AJ Burnett they now have one the of the strongest pitching staff’s in the league and a productive first baseman that can play everyday. Even though CC and Teixeira looked like a dud yesterday it was only opening day and they will definitely pick it up over the next few days. The Yanks are definitely looking forward to Alex Rodriguez returning in a month or so and his bat will be a definite upgrade to the line up. The only question with the Yankees is the production they are going to get from their outfield. There are age concerns with Damon, and Gardener is still unproven.

Representing the National League- The New York Mets- The Mets still have the big name pitcher in Johan Santana, and even though the only significant offense they have added was 40 year old Gary Sheffield the competition in the NL is not that strong. I don’t see them flopping at the end of the season for a third straight year and finally making a real playoff run.

The Winner--- It’s a repeat of the 2000 Subway Series and the Yankees are just too powerful this year ending their World Series drought. The Yankees are going to win it in 5 games with the captain Derek Jeter taking the MVP honors.

Dancing with the Stars: Boner Edition

Sorry guys there is no Winner in this one just a funny story and even better pictures. The Olympic gold medalist in the balance beam, and Silver medalist in the All Around SHAWN JOHNSON is competing in this the 8th season of DANCING WITH THE STARS. This family friendly show got just a little bit dirty this week.

Shawn Johnson is the youngest competitor in the shows 8 seasons at age 16. She is partnered with season 6 winner 22 year old Mark Ballas. On this weeks edition of Dancing with the Stars the two performed the lindy hop, but much to America’s surprise there was a little more than Shawn Johnson expected hopping out of Ballas’ pants.

If you take a look at these pictures it seems to be that Ballas was a little excited over rubbing up on his partner… wonder what may be going on behind stage?

Mr. Vince “ShamWow” Shlomi Beats Down Stripper

Yesterday in Miami, the man known for his promotion of a SHAMWOW cloth beat down a stripper. The 44 year old Shlomi brought stripper Leana Harris, 26, to his room at Setai Hotel in Florida for sex. He paid her $1,000 before he kissed her, but she wasn’t to happy with what he was offering and bit his tongue and would not let go. The Final Four

NCAA March Madness down to the best four teams in the country. Michigan State, UNC, UConn, and Villanova. Each one of these powerhouse teams just have something big about them and can all potentially win the National Title.
The BIG EAST is represented Connecticut and Villanova, the BIG TEN by Michigan State, BIG men (UConn's Hasheem Thabeet, UNC's Tyler Hansbrough and MSU's Goran Suton).
These four big name schools made sure that the powerhouses of the tournament and no seed lower then a three (VILLANOVA WHO CAN BE ARGUED AS A 2) can make it to the big dance. Last year all number one seeds made it to the final four. So is the NCAA making a shift to the big names returning to dominance. Will small schools like Davidson and George Mason no longer be able to make a splash in the tournament.
Well lets check out the picks for the rest of the tournament.

Villanova vs UNC- UNC is to strong and too experienced to go home at this point. They made it to far last year, and Tyler Hansbourough is looking for that national championship before he gets to the NBA. It will help his draft stock and its just about the only reason he stayed in school. Plus the fact Ty Lawson is the strongest point guard left and if he is 100% healthy there is no team that can match UNC.
Michigan State vs UConn- Hasheem Thabeet is a monster, but I think Michigan state can shut him down and go all the way to the big dance. Michigan State has played amazing in the tournament dismantling Louisville and I think they are going to do the same to another number one seed.

I had to do this one for the guys. It’s pretty instinctual for every guy to watch a girl pass by, and for us to just glance a look—it doesn’t matter if we are with our girlfriends, wives, mothers and they are the greatest person alive, we just do it and sorry ladies but that’s just the way it will always be. I will be the first to admit that we are animals so don’t worry.

Today pits MEGAN FOX vs Scarlett Johansson in a straight up hottie off bikini contest. Now both women are gorgeous and I think just about any guy would drop their current piece for one of these two but their styles are completely different.

Scarlett is that classic look. Light skin, blonde hair, light eyes whole some look. Someone that you can take home to mom, but still with a killer body. I don’t know if any of you guys saw He’s Just Not that Into You, but just one word can describe her in that movie…damn

Now Megan Fox is that straight up sexy bad girl that no parent wants to see at home. Tattoos cover some of her body and the dark hair and gorgeous light eyes just give you a look like she is gonna rock your world.

The only thing in common with these two is that they both do comic movies. Megan Fox is in Transformers, while Scarlett Johansson does Iron Man.

The World Baseball Disaster

2009 saw the second ever World Baseball Classic… Let me first start by just saying, what is so Classic about it. Before the game I picked Japan to win tonight, but in the beginning of the tournament I picked the stacked Dominicans who played disappointing.
Let Winners just let you all know some of my gripes for this tournament that is supposed to pit countries biggest baseball stars against one another.
1. Players- It’s cool to be patriotic and all, but 95% of these players play in the MLB and live in America but are willing to play for the team that they find their roots in. Alex Rodriguez is born in America, speaks English, lives in America and plays for the YANKEES WHERE HE IS WAY OVERPAID and yet still runs to the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC when tourney time comes around
2. Timing- The MLB season in less than 10 days away, people are looking to the major leagues for baseball, not some ridiculous tournament. If it was played in December in warm areas then they may get more than 13,000 people at a game.
3. Injuries- These players such as Robinson Cano are going back to the teams that are paying them injured and less than 100%
4. Did anyone else find it funny that everything is in English no matter where it’s played. Japan’s jersey’s say Japan in English. If it’s supposed to be native to a country wouldn’t it be in Japanese?
The WBC is what the Olympics would be like if professional baseball players were allowed to play.
I must give props to the Japanese and Korean teams though. The majority of their players do play in the leagues of their country, and in 2009 they did dominate. But coincidentally it was an MLB PLAYER ICHIRO SUZUKI OF THE SEATTLE MARINERS WITH THE GAME WINNING RBI IN THE TOP OF THE 10TH INNING TO GIVE JAPAN THE 5-3 WIN OVER KOREA IN THE FINAL.
But Congratulations Japan on going back to back at the WBC
I think that if USA had some of its big dogs coming out to play baseball would officially be America’s pastime. But until these guys care about their country and not their paychecks (which will never happen) the only thing USA would dominate is the World Football Classic and no I am not talking about soccer.

As a fight fan I like to keep my eye on up and comers. Internet street brawling sensation Kimbo Slice was all the rage for about a year. He was tearing up Elite XC even though he was fighting UFC wash-ups, until one day where scrub Seth Pertruzelli steps in for Ken Shamrock on hours notice and knocks Kimbo out in less then 30seconds.

So where is Kimbo now?

As of now nothing is scheduled, his contract is being negotiated with Strikeforce at the moment. There are rumors that he might go to pro boxing cause his ground game sucks.. Sorry Kimbo.

WWE Test: Dead at 33

Fight Fans again it is my duty to bring you more tragic news. Found at 8pm in his Tampa home was former WWE Intercontinental Champion and Tag Team Champion Andrew Martin, better known for his ring name Test. He had previously had problems with alcohol and steroids and semi-retired in 2007.

In his peak in the late 90s, he was regularly involved in storylines with The Rock, Triple H and the McMahon family.
He was just as popular outside of the ring and enjoyed high-profile relationships with Divas Stacy Keibler and Kelly Kelly.

Martin's last stint in the WWE lasted from 2006-2007 but he left under a cloud after falling foul of the company’s Wellness Policy.
The policy was introduced after the death of Guerrero – and strengthened after the Chris Benoit murder-suicides – partly to counter the painkiller abuse Martin had previously criticised.

His steroid problems also stopped rival wrestling company TNA from giving him a full time contract despite his success in the ring.

At this time no cause of death has been determined but Winners sends it’s deepest condolences to the Martin Family.

West Virginia topple #3 Pitt 70-64 , and in the wee hours of the morning in a 6 overtime thriller #20 Syracuse beats #4UConn 127-117.

So with the two of the Big East’s favorites falling on Thursday Winner’s has picked Louisville the top seed to win the Big East Tournament. I think that Syracuse is going to be to exhausted to play tonight, and WVU is no match for the powerhouses the east has.

Tapout: Charles “MASK” Lewis passes away at 45 in fatal car wreck

Fight fans today is a sad day, and will be a day of mourning—not of fighting. Like many of you I am a big fight enthusiast, and one of the most influential men in the fight game has passed away well before his time. Tapout founder Charles “Mask” Lewis has passed away in a fatal car accident early Wednesday morning. He was 45 years old.
Lewis and TapouT pioneered mixed martial arts fashion and gained notoriety in a unique way, by creating larger-than-life personas to market the clothing. Lewis called himself "Mask" and wore face paint while decked in camouflage gear with a large hat.
A 1977 Porsche coupe collided with Lewis' 2004 Ferrari Modena, crashing it into a light pole that destroyed the entire front of the car.
Jeffrey David Kirby, the driver of the 1977 Porsche, has been arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
The official TapouT website has confirmed the passing.
"It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we must regretfully confirm the passing of our beloved friend, brother and co-founder Charles 'Mask' Lewis following a car accident that occurred last night," the website stated. "We are currently in the process of setting up a memorial service in his honor and will release more details as they become available.
"Many thanks to all for the outpouring of blessings and well-wishing during this incredibly difficult time."

This Sunday brought America the Season Finale of Tool Academy. A show the brought the worst of bad boyfriends to look even crappier and then miraculously turn in model gentlemen. I must say this was a new low for reality tv.
The winner of the first season was the biggest loser in the house, Josh aka Tiny Tool who coincidentally had the largest, and I am sorry pig faced girl friend.

Sharon Osbourne vs Megan Hauserman

Former Playboy model Megan Hauserman has sued Sharon Osbourne, accusing the wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne of pulling her hair out during the Rock of Love Charm School Reunion.
The two women had never seen eye to eye during the entire season and all the drama came to a head as the two traded insults over Sharon’s husband Ozzy. Megan called him from everything from a drugged out has been to insulting his ability in bed. Like any lady would react Sharon poured her drink on Megan’s head and proceeded to kick the crap out of her.

Like Winners always does we see no reason for a lawsuit and think the issue can be settled back on the very stage the fight began. Because the two women are reformed ladies though (yea try to convince yourself of that too) this fight will never happen and it is my duty to bring you the play by play.
Lets face it Sharon had the first advantage she charged Megan and poured a drink on her catching the Playboy model off guard. If not grabbed by security she is able to grab the little blonde and throw her to the ground pulling hair, screaming obscenities nobody understands, and scratching. The wet Megan slides out from under the English death grip and takes her back biting her shoulders and trying to annoy her to death with her “I’m so hot” comments only further pissing off Sharon.

The Verdict: The Queen of Rock lives as she flips Megan over by her hair and popping Megan’s implant causing her to drop from Playboy to Hustler and out hopefully a career at the Bunny Ranch on HBO.

America’s Best Dance Crew Finale

Quest Crew vs Beat Freaks
This Thursday night at 10pm on MTV is the season Finale of Randy Jackson presents America’s Best Dance Crew. The third season has brought some of the best dance crews ranging from clogging to b boys to national spotlight. But now it’s down to the final two: QUEST CREW VS BEAT FREAKS
Last Thursday provided the audience with each crews final chance to dance for the viewers vote. This is a real life dance battle for $100,000.
My vote is going out for Quest crew. The fact that these b-boys are not only hitting sick tricks but doing actual choreography makes them the best crew of the season for me. They have had sick performances all season and as of the last two episodes have really outdone the Beatfreakz. Don’t get me wrong the girls have been really good all season never falling into the bottom two, but I think we are going to have to wait til season 4 for a female crew to be named America’s Best Dance crew.
There is no doubt that this season the best two crews made the finale, but I still think that Quest is way better.

Like any great story ever told it usually begins over a woman. This story is no different. By most people Kim Kardashian is considered one of the world’s most gorgeous women. So some of you may be asking what’s the beef between the two? Ray J is out and Reggie is in—seems simple but like any ex looking to hype himself up Ray J has recently felt the need to bag on his ex and try to give the new guy who could whoop his ass some advice.
Stating on the Tyra Banks show that Reggie needs to just stay away for Kim and that she is only going to try and ruin his career that he should just stay away and that he is only looking to help another guy out. Plus the fact that he pokes fun at the fact of Reggie getting his sloppy seconds. In my opinion this has only been to get some press for his own reality show “For the Love of Ray J” where he tries to find his new love on a much less funny by no means entertaining version of Flavor of Love.
Reggie has stayed mostly quiet to the smack talk for one of two reasons
1. He knows Ray J is an embarrassment to the rap game
2. He has a real career and if he goes off his coach may get mad sit him and his numbers will get even worse

Picture this Reggie does something rare and breaks a 20 yard rush for a touchdown and has the celebration dance of a life time planned. Seeing Ray J on Tyra he pulls a copy of the sex tape out of his shoulder pads throws it on the turf and stomps it out pointing to the crowd to Ray J taping an episode of his new reality show. Ray J looking for ratings charges the field and hits Reggie from behind. The brawl is on as the two men start exchanging lefts and rights out of the end zone, to the 10, the 20, the 30—they could go all the way. A halftime show breaks out as Jay-Z takes the stage rapping “Is that your Chick” as the two are at mid field. Kim charges the field as the prize is presented. Reggie dressed as a USC Trojan pulls out the big foam sword and takes a massive swing hitting Ray J and knocking him to a knee. Crawling to the side lines he picks up a big Gatorade jug and soaks Reggie weighing down the foam rubber suit and hitting him with a few cheap shots. An infuriated Reggie comes from the ground with a mortal kombat uppercut leaving Ray J to be scooped up by his sister Brandy and only Kim left to claimed as the prize.
Reggie goes picks up Kim and walks to the tunnel forgetting about the game and more on his future modeling career and sex tape leakage with Kim Kardashian.

The Oscars- Rourke vs Penn

Tonight is the event that Hollywood waits for all year. The glitz and the glamour of the Oscars is coming to Los Angeles with the excitement of top fashion and projected award winners. The past few weeks’ two leading males have been very public with their intentions of winning best male actor.
As far as I am concerned all the trash has been pure hype for the fight that every movie go’er is looking forward to: The Wrester’s Mickey Rourke vs Milk’s Sean Penn.
As of late tension has done nothing but grow and get put into the public eye. A recent leaked text message supposedly revealed that Rourke had bashed Penn's performance in the Harvey Milk biopic.
The text message read:
Look Seans a friend of mine. I didn't buy his performance at all. Thought he did an average pretend acting like he was gay besides he's one of the most homophobic people I kno. [sic] Rourke's win last night at the Golden Globe Awards put him one step ahead. He credited director Darren Aronofsky in his acceptance speech, but some viewers raised eyebrows about his conduct. According to the Hollywood Reporter:
Those hoping for some kind of freak show when Mickey Rourke showed up were not disappointed. In between talking about his comeback, Rourke managed to tell one poor lady to "sit down and cool it" when all she wanted to do was give him a better mike (and then later go, "You're not neurotic, are you?"), name off all his dogs -- Loki, Kid Chocolate, Le Negre, "some chick I was hanging out with at the time," some of whose names are engraved on his rings -- swear some and leave the stage by saying, "I got to go."

To me it sounds like a load of garbage and is a set up for what Mickey Rourke has been looking for from the WWE. This past Sunday graced us with NBA’S all-star game. For the past week analysts across the nation have been trying to figure out if Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Byrant would be able to co-exist as team mates on the Western All Star team. The two have had a long time feud over the past years despite them being considered one of the best NBA duo’s of all time winning three championships. From 2003 to the present the two have consistently traded blows verbally about ones importance to a team or even Kobe saying that Shaq used to come to training camp fat and out of shape. But this Sunday the two men stood side by side as CO-MVPS for the All-Star game. Through all the fake smiles it was quite obvious that the two men were just happy for the cameras and really wanted to punch each others lights out.
For two men with such giant egos it is not enough to settle the battle of words on the court, but it needs to be a battle of the fisticuffs. Both saying they grew up in poverty it is only fitting that they two men settle their problems like any other family with stupidity they like to argue about… the Jerry Springer show

The Shaq-Fu moves from Super Nintendo really do work in real life as the wana be Jabbawockee is surprisingly quick on his feet. Kobe seems to be doing a cross over and amazingly a fight has turned into a dance off. Using his head Jerry throws a 2009 NBA Championship ring in between the two and the fight is back on. Shaq see’s the shiny metal and his big goofy body immediately flops to the floor to play with it while Kobe knows he needs that ring to make up to his wife for the next time he cheats.
The two over sized men roll across the stage trading blows until Shaq realizes his size and sits on him holding the ring up with a big smile across his face.
Big Steve the bouncer breaks up the battle declaring Shaq the winner and telling Kobe don’t worry your wife came back and his left just go home and be happy with that.

The Ikki Twins

And just when you thought the Double Shot at Love was over, the fight is about to get Ikki—Rikki and Vikki that is. These bi-sexual identical twins had the task of eliminating over a dozen men and women and finding one that could fulfill ones needs while the other just stays heart broken. Makes no sense…..Trust me America- I know. To me this sounds like a sister battle just brewing, and the few pushes shoves and catty remarks seen throughout the season just shows that the two girls have plenty of fire to bring it to the ring. This fight presented by Winners is a straight backyard brawl on the elimination set of A Double Shot at Love.
We know, Rikki’s gotten over the whole getting-dumped-by-Trevor thing and decided to give Vikki her blessing but in the back of her mind she has had pent up anger and sexual frustrations building up making her come out for a quick start of hair pulling and disses on how she looks better in her dress even though they are wearing the same exact thing.
Vikki then breaks out into a slew of how she is the better twin because she is the only one that can hold get a man. The two exchange bitch slaps and wild kicks and round one ends in a tie.
Round 2 starts off with a little more aggression. The crowd is only chanting Ikki Ikki Ikki as the two scantily clad women pose for the crowd when suddenly the backstabbing sister Vikki hits Rikki from behind with an oversized shot glass and puts her down for the count.

Chris Brown vs Rihanna --the showdown

As many of you know this past week the lovebirds known as Chris Brown and Rihanna were involved in a bit of a scruffle were the two had an altercation of the fists. Its reported that Rihanna has walked away with some bruises and cuts leading to Chris Brown being dropped from his Wrigley gum campaign. WHAT I AM HERE TO BRING TO YOU IS THE EVENT FANS WANT TO SEE KNOWN AS WHO WOULD WIN ROUND 1

Let’s first start with footwork of Chris Brown, we all know that the man is light on his feet so he would be able to move around the ring pretty good dodging some blows that Rihanna may be able to throw at him, and everyone knows that with good footwork comes good dance arms which may allow him to throw a food good slaps her way (if the bruises were not proof enough)
Rihanna on the other hand has the man’s haircut which would have to be backed up with a few manly punches she would be able to throw. Lets not forget about the vocal pipes either and the fact that as a woman combined with those pipes she will be able to scream and complain until Chris can no longer take it plugging up his ears leaving his face and body wide open.

--The verdict--- A pissed off girl is out for revenge and Rihanna takes out Chris Brown with a stiletto in the second round further embarrassing Chris Brown and disgracing his manhood for beating on a woman.
